Grief Counselling

Grief counselling (also known as bereavement counselling) is a supportive form of therapy designed to help you process and navigate the complex experiences that may accompany a significant loss.

What to Expect in Grief Counselling

Grief is a profound emotional experience. It may arise in response to the loss of a loved one or following a change in a relationship, role, identity, or health status. Similarly, an unmet hope or expectation - such as involuntary childlessness or singleness - can lead to a deep sense of grief. Everyone experiences grief differently and there is no "right" path or timeline for healing.

Grief counselling provides a space for you to explore and navigate your unique grief experience. My approach is attuned and gentle, a presence that honours your story and supports you to process the emotions arising from loss. We'll attend to your nervous system's cues and find the pacing that feels right to you in sessions. Together, we'll create the context for healing. If you are looking for support with grief counselling in Vancouver, I invite you to reach out. I'm here to support you during this tender time.
