As adults, we may face issues that for whatever reason feel too weighty or complex to bring to friends and family. Individual counselling is a place to bring those concerns and experiences. In individual counselling, I offer dedicated space and time to focus on you; an opportunity to let go of the need to perform or be "the strong one" and instead receive the care and support you deserve.
In individual counselling, you get to decide the focus of our time together. No issue is too big or too small. We can explore emotions, behaviors, and beliefs, as well as past and present life experiences that are affecting you. I regularly weave somatic therapy and attachment therapy into individual counselling sessions. However, we'll frequently review how the process is going for you and adjust the approach and modalities as needed. Together, we'll build a relationship of safety and trust that supports you on your path to wellbeing.
